SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for temporary summer workers (Maintenance Painters) in the Facilities Maintenance & Operations department.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Performs semiskilled work in preparing surfaces and applying coats of paint, varnish, and other finishes and stains to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces and fixtures of buildings, structures, furniture, and equipment
• May perform minor labor tasks at times
• Performs interior and exterior painting
• Prepares surface for painting

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and be able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Work Schedule:
40 hours/week: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.
