Pay Range: $69,000 - $80,000
Hours: Standard hours for this role are 7:00am - 3:30pm. Schedule is Thursday through Monday (Tuesday and Wednesday off). Hours may vary based on operational needs.

Job Description:
The Supervisor of Facility Services - Custodial will manage administrative and operational functions and custodial staff including but not limited to corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance of facilities during multiple shifts. Includes all custodial staff working multiple shifts across both academic/administrative facilities as well as residential facilities. This position will work closely with building supervisors and day shift custodians to schedule custodial work needed during multiple shifts. Maintain safe and healthy work environment by enforcing compliance with OSHA regulations, Department of Labor, SU Safety Department including the ADA. Interpret, plan and execute work within general guidelines to achieve departmental objectives. Supervise and instruct staff on methods and procedures concerning daily maintenance and preventive maintenance. Interact with deans, directors, department heads faculty, building staff, trades, students, and peers to resolve daily problems and requests, and manage other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Two (2) plus years of management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Previous supervisory experience is desirable.
Job Specific Qualifications:
Skills and Knowledge:
- Interpret and enforce the bargaining unit contract, University's policies and individual department policies.
- Technical expertise in several essential custodial building trades.
- Advanced technical, computer, oral and written communication skills preferred.
- Must be familiar with "Green" cleaning method and procedures.

- Interact with deans, directors, department heads, faculty, building staff, trades, students, and peers to resolve daily problems and requests.
- Supervise and instruct staff on methods and procedures concerning daily maintenance and preventive maintenance.
