We are seeking a candidate for a position as lecturer in the MSc Infection Prevention and Control team, to work alongside academic colleagues as part of the delivery of the Microorganisms and Diseases module, and Host Defence and Protection module. You will be based at the Inverness College main campus and work remotely.

This role presents a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic person who enjoys teaching and learning to join an experienced and diverse team. You will be required to deliver curriculum in an innovative manner with a focus on best practice in the teaching of topics relevant to your role. This will include delivering online tutorials and marking assessments, with some cross-over between modules. It is also expected that you will be able to participate in marking dissertations relevant to microbiology. You will be required to be an effective team member able to deliver a high-quality curriculum and educational experience.

You do not need to have a teaching qualification to apply as training will be provided, however some experience of instructing or teaching is welcome. You should possess effective interpersonal skills and have good IT skills in applications such as MS Office and other relevant subject related software packages.

Please note, the successful candidate will be subject to a PVG Scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and other background checks.
