Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $48,600 - Midpoint: $60,800 (Salaried E7)
Department/Organization: 200006 - OAA Faculty/Staff Affairs
Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm
Job Summary: The Faculty Affairs Specialist maintains the daily operations of faculty affairs including faculty processes and faculty development within the Academic Affairs unit. Assists with the faculty hiring system and faculty activity reporting system. Assists with faculty development coordination, accreditations, and other processes with faculty affairs.
Additional Department Summary: Maintains the daily operations of faculty affairs including faculty processes and faculty development within the Academic Affairs unit. Assists in the faculty hiring system, faculty activity reporting system and faculty development coordination, accreditations, and other processes with Faculty Affairs. Engages with multiple campus partners in order to assist with process improvement, process set up, and strategic decisions. Completes accounting, budget, and HR related documents in a timely manner.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience; OR master's degree.
Skills and Knowledge: Strong data base management skills such as skills for manipulating large database sets and spreadsheets. Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot technical issues. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic desktop computing skills (e.g. windows, Excel, etc.). Demonstrated knowledge of windows-driven software.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience to include system administration, project management, budget reconciliation or management, event coordination, and communication strategies.
