The Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology at the Yale School of Medicine is seeking a board eligible/board certified or equivalent GI surgical oncologist to serve as the Director of Robotic Surgery. This leadership role will focus on advancing robotic surgery while contributing to our comprehensive and growing surgical oncology team. Our division of surgical oncology currently has over 20 faculty members, with a vibrant clinical, research and educational portfolio. Applications are invited for the position of Associate Professor/Professor of Surgery. Interests in translational research and/or clinical trials are attractive but not required for this position.

Primary responsibilities include advancing the robotic surgical oncology program across the network, improving surgical outcomes, fostering innovation, and training the next generation of robotic surgeons. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our capabilities in robotic cancer care and should demonstrate a strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration. In addition to clinical responsibilities, faculty members are expected to engage in the education and mentorship of medical students and residents, as well as contribute meaningfully to our ongoing research initiatives. Applicants will join a supportive and collegial environment, backed by progressive leadership. This position offers an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing faculty and develop a high-impact surgical oncology practice within a dynamic community in Connecticut.
