The University of Alabama in Huntsville invites applications for adjunct positions within the Department of Art, Art History & Design. Specifically, positions are available in Graphic Design and Studio Art. These positions are part-time faculty positions, hired on an as-needed basis. Compensation is based on a standard university scale according to the number of credit hours being taught. Primary responsibilities include in-person or online, asynchronous instruction based on the given student learning objective for the course, designing and implementing quality assessments, and grading students on their ability to master the learning objectives.

Qualifications: 

Minimum requirements include a Master of Fine Arts degree in Design or Visual Arts. Previous experience as an instructor is preferred.
