About the role
The Executive Officer will provide high-level support to the Director and two Associate Directors in People and Culture. The position provides administrative support and project coordination duties as required, in all aspects of planning and operations to ensure the achievement of successful outcomes of projects and initiatives. Confidentiality discretion and time management are critical components of this position.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience:
- Working in a highly confidential workplace with the highest standard of ethics and integrity
- Providing high level executive support across a range of projects and activities through application of specialist knowledge to assist with the preparation of strategic documents, briefing papers, discussion papers, report submissions and minute taking
- Maintaining multiple secure and confidential registers, and assist with the resolution of complex, highly sensitive and confidential matters
- Managing records and databases, complying with administrative systems, processes and policies, to ensure that information is accurate, stored in accordance with University record-keeping requirements, and accessible. Ensure any relevant governance requirements are adhered to.
- Assisting in the coordination of projects, including preparation of project planning documentation and risk registers
- Managing and monitoring reporting compliance including Audit & Risk, Compliance, Council and Committee reports. Assist with the drafting of reports, ensuring the required deadlines are met and that consistent and accurate information are provided across all reporting platforms
About the Department
Integrated Services Division includes the areas of Estate and Built Environment, People and Culture, Legal Services, Information Technology and Administrative Services. The division is responsible for the physical deployment of support staff across UNE.
