Job Title: Teacher Education - Early Childhood Ed - Adjunct faculty (ECE 399R)

Job Classification: Adjunct Faculty - Teaching (Day or Evening)

Required Degree: Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred. Degree must be in elementary or early childhood education, or similar, from an accredited university.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:  

• Expertise in planning, classroom management, and instruction in elementary and early childhood classrooms.
• Familiarity working with the BYU/Public School Partnership.
• Successful experience as a licensed K-6 elementary or early childhood classroom teacher, minimum 4 years experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties/Expectations: 

• Teach selected courses in the Early Childhood Education program (ECE 399R).
• Participate in university, college, and department training meetings as requested.
• Meet appropriate dress and conduct standards as required by the university.
