Duties

Reporting to the Academic Dean and Chair of the Visual Arts Department, duties include and courses may include: teaching Intro to Film, Intro to Television, Sound Design, Editing, Group Production, Cinematography I and II. May include internship management, Senior Thesis Advising, management and maintenance of film equipment and facilities. Course load ranges from 32-35 hours per year with a full-time equivalent of 42-45 hours per year.

Desirable Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree
• Professional experience in the field of film and television
• Experience in teaching preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills

Compensation

Salary; Commensurate with experience (plus denominational benefits, depending upon qualifications and experience)
