The Director of the Fund for Geneseo is responsible for developing, and managing creative content for fundraising appeals. The Director of the Fund for Geneseo will work closely with the communications and marketing team. The Director of the Fund for Geneseo works with the alumni and development teams and the sports information director to implement an integrated, multi channeled fundraising program that drives alumni participation and unrestricted contributions. The Director of the Fund for Geneseo manages a discovery portfolio of leadership giving ($1000 annual) prospects.Required QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated strong data analysis skills, interpersonal and communication skills, marketing expertise, and excellent time management;
  • Requires proficiency in Word and Excel and the ability to record, track, and respond to data trends
  • The successful candidate will follow best practices in fundraising and participate in professional development
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive working/teaching environment.
  • Some evening and weekend work is required
  • Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software system
  • Experience leading and personally managing paid social media marketing campaigns and other types of digital advertising campaigns
  • Experience building reports on web traffic data or social media marketing campaign effectiveness
  • Experience with direct-response fundraising.
