About the role: 

The HDR Admissions and Scholarships Officer is responsible for providing high level coordination and administrative support to Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students and a range of university stakeholders to enable the delivery of HDR Admissions and Scholarships processes.

To be successful you'll have:

• Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
• Completion of a Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
• An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
• Experience in providing high-level administrative support preferably within a university environment.
• Demonstrated experience in providing efficient and friendly customer service in a busy office environment that
• incorporated a broad range of administrative tasks and systems.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Key tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Responding to stakeholder enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Accurate assessment applications for HDR candidature at Deakin University
• Accurate data entry for a range of administrative tasks relating to HDR Admissions and Scholarships
• management of the HDR Admissions and Scholarships contact points (phone/email)
