Ensures efficient and effective office operations within the Development, Annual Giving, and Planned Giving departments of Development and Alumni Affairs. Performs all duties in full support of the University’s mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of our students.Hiring RangeStarting hourly rate is $18.60 per hour to $21.00 per hour depending upon experience

Description of Key ResponsibilityCoordinates and assists with the activities of the development officers and directors by establishing, cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external constituencies, providing information requiring knowledge of University policy, procedure and/or precedent. Ensures all incoming calls and correspondence are provided quality customer service. Fields, screens and evaluates internal and external inquiries, taking action as necessary and appropriate.Description of Key ResponsibilityProvides quality customer service to all constituents, understands University policies and procedure, especially as it pertains to sharing information. Takes initiative to answer questions and/or resolve issues, forwarding issues to the proper parties for resolution as necessary and/or appropriate. Handles highly sensitive information with confidentiality and tact. Understands and values effective engagement with a diverse constituency.Description of Key ResponsibilityCoordinates logistics associated with travel, meetings, conferences, events and/or activities including, but not limited to, scheduling meeting locations, preparing materials, exporting event reports, paying vendors and managing 25Live (the University’s calendar). Provides timely and accurate administrative support to the development team staff including the Associate VP, Senior Directors, Directors of Development, Annual Giving and Planned Giving.Description of Key ResponsibilityUtilizes Banner, the University’s database of record, to manage the department’s budget, making revisions and transfers as necessary and appropriate, in an effort to ensure prudent fiscal oversight. Maintains financial and budgetary records in compliance with established institutional data integrity standards as well as other related University policies and procedures. Reviews and verifies all appropriate backup documentation is complete in an effort to facilitate timely workflow. Prepares and analyzes a variety of budget analyses and reports.Description of Key ResponsibilityWorks with Director of Administrative Operations on establishing, maintaining, and continually striving to improve departmental procedures, files, and computer systems to support effective operations and/or realize efficiencies. Supports with the process to maintain supplies, equipment, and/or inventories, reordering as necessary and/or appropriate within established budgetary constraints. Serves as the primary liaison for internal constituents including, but not limited to, Aramark and Facilities.Description of Key ResponsibilityPerforms other related duties as assigned.
