Women and Neonatal Health Clinical Instructors Fall 2024 (August 26-December 6)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years postpartum and/or labor and delivery experience
- Master of Science in Nursing
- Will consider a candidate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and enrolled in a Master of Science in Nursing program OR a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with experience in postpartum and/or labor and delivery and experience with precepting students or new hires (special exception application would be made to the state)
- 15 weeks of clinical, 7 hours each week of clinical. Includes one hour of prep time, selection of patient assignments, etc. Students are doing direct patient care 0630-1200. Post-conference 1200-1300.
- Weekly grading of written clinical work. Eight students/week and 1.5 hours per student. Clinical assignments are already created.
- Midterm and final clinical evaluation tool completion and meeting with students, 90 minutes per student for each evaluation.
