Why Your Role Matters:
As a Content Coordinator within the Division of Education and Student Experience, you will play a crucial role in attracting Future Students through the development and publishing of compelling web content.
In this position, you'll work with the Marketing and Content Team, utilising your expertise as a digital native to create content that is both strategic and engaging. Your search-first approach will ensure our content meets best practices and strengthens UNSW’s distinctive brand, driving successful recruitment outcomes.
Reporting to the Acting Content Manager, the Content Coordinator will have a significant impact on our marketing efforts, without the responsibility of direct reports. If you're passionate about digital content and eager to make a difference in student recruitment, we want to hear from you!
Specific accountabilities for this role include:
- Develop and publish International and Domestic future student web and digital experience content in line with technical and brand standards.
- Participate fully within the Marketing and Content team, contributing to creating a respected and valued resource. Deliver a highly customer-focused service, and demonstrate commitment to cross functional collaboration, excellence and continuous improvement.
- Support the Acting Content Manager to deliver the annual content work plan which supports the agreed strategy for the Division, across web content.
- Coordinate development website content including search research, interviews, fact checking, sourcing to create compelling written content to promote UNSW.
- Publish content on Adobe Experience Manager and UNSW websites; maximising use of content technologies and automations such as content and experience fragments.
Who You Are:
- A relevant tertiary education with experience in content marketing or communications or an equivalent level of industry knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and experience.
- A sound understanding of content technologies and automations including content and experience fragments. Experience using Adobe Experience Manager, Wrike, Trello, SEMRush, Clearscope, Site improve, Figma would be advantageous.
- Highly developed written and visual content craftsmanship in a KPI driven marketing context, with experience across digital channels.
- Excellent collaboration skills and experience working in an agile, sprint-based content delivery environment.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills, with proven attention to accuracy and detail.
- Excellent relationship management skills, with a demonstrated track record of fostering and maintaining strong and successful internal and external networks, supporting successful outcomes.
- Higher Education and premium brand experience is highly desirable.
- An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
- Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
