About the opportunity
The Manager of Global Student Mobility is pivotal in implementing the Universitys Global Learning Abroad plan. You will be responsible for attracting international study abroad students, facilitating student learning opportunities, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. Your core responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement strategies to enhance international student mobility programs aligning with SCUs Learning Abroad Plan and overall Global Strategy.
Lead student recruitment efforts, market development, and network management to meet Study Abroad program targets and identify trends for recruitment.
Foster relationships with diverse stakeholders, oversee government program administration, and provide student support for Learning Abroad initiatives to drive plan goals and compliance.
About you
The ideal candidate for this role will hold a relevant degree and experience in international student recruitment and business development, or equivalent. You should demonstrate the ability to develop strategies, plan, implement, and monitor projects to achieve strategic outcomes. Knowledge of Australian government requirements related to international students and the capability to interpret and implement regulations is essential. In addition, you will demonstrate:
High level interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
High level negotiation skills and the ability to establish and manage external and internal relationships.
Demonstrated ability to represent the University at all levels in a professional manner, domestically and overseas.
Salary and benefits

Full-time, fixed term (21 months).
Located at our Gold Coast or Lismore campus.
HEW Level 7. The base salary ranges from $99,711- $ 108,268 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $126,673.
