About the Role
The Manager, International Partnerships & Operations plays a key role in driving student acquisition planning, managing international partnerships, and ensuring efficient operations within the Future Students team. Reporting to the Associate Director, Planning and Operations, this role provides expert advice on external recruitment partnerships, supports the offshore office network, and coordinates projects to enhance the capability and culture of the Future Students team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with the Associate Director, Future Students Planning & Operations in relation to management of the University’s offshore office network, develop and manage business and operational processes to ensure each office is compliant with business and human resources requirements applicable to the country of operation.
- Manage and provide expert advice on external international sponsor recruitment partnerships including contract management and compliance with internal and external obligations. Liaise with Student Recruitment, Divisional Groups, Chancellery International and other SASS teams as required to support effective management of the sponsorship portfolio.
- Work collaboratively with the Associate Director, Planning and Operations, Associate Director, Student Recruitment and Regional Managers to ensure proactive performance management of Education Agents supported by comprehensive training resources.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to relate positively across all levels of an organisation. They possess great initiative, organisation, and time management skills, enabling them to work autonomously and as part of a team, effectively manage competing demands, and deliver excellent customer service in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
You will also have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification with management experience relating to student recruitment, planning or project management or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high performing teams, encourage a collaborative and effective work environment.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering organisational plans, aligning organisational strategies and balancing resourcing demands, preferably within a complex environment
- Highly developed diagnostic and analytical skills to identify and drive creative solutions and contribute towards problem solving.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
