"Full-Time Nursing Faculty"

Lindsey Wilson College, a United Methodist affiliated liberal arts college located in south central Kentucky, is seeking candidates for the position of Instructor or Assistant Professor of Nursing beginning in August 2024. Located on more than 200 partially wooded acres on a hilltop in Columbia, Kentucky, LWC is in the heart of south central Kentucky, in the foothills of Appalachia. Within an hour of Columbia, there are multiple opportunities for outdoor recreation as Lindsey Wilson is located near several major tourist attractions including Lake Cumberland, Mammoth Cave National Park, and Cumberland Falls. It is also less than two hours from the cultural opportunities available in Louisville, KY and Nashville, TN.

While candidates holding a doctorate in nursing with a minimum of two years clinical practice in community health and with the adult/geriatric population and an unencumbered KY RN or APRN Licensure are preferred, candidates with an unencumbered KY RN or APRN licensure and an MSN also will be considered. The successful candidate will teach didactic, lab, and clinical experiences beginning in August 2024 on the main campus in Columbia, Kentucky. The selected faculty member will teach courses in Community Health and Health Assessment. Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience and the successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teaching, academic advising, ongoing professional development, and collaboration with other faculty.
