The Department of English, Languages, and Linguistics invites applications for a one-year instructorposition in the English Program. Teaching requirements will include Core (General Education) literature, first-year writing, and a mix of introductory and upper-level classes in the English major.
Position will begin in August 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Teach a variety of courses in literature and composition.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A MA or PhD in English Literature or Rhetoric and Composition;
- Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching in both composition and literature;
- Personal commitment to Christianity, the Christian mission of the College, and the
integration of faith and learning; and
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the context of Christian higher education.
