Position Summary
The Department of Nursing in the School of Science, Engineering and Health at Messiah University invites applications for the position of Critical Care Clinical Adjunct Instructor in Nursing. Experience in pediatric intermediate care or critical care is preferred
Responsibilities
Responsible for teaching undergraduate nursing students in the clinical rotation for the critical care course during late fall term, 12 hours a week for 8 weeks.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a graduate degree in nursing (e.g. MS, MSN, DNP, PhD) and current clinical experience in the critical care specialty but will consider applicants who are enrolled in a graduate program with a plan to complete a graduate degree in nursing within 5 years of hire. Clinical certifications are highly valued.

• DNP/FNP (post BSN)
• DNP-Nursing Leadership (post master’s)
The program enjoys a reputation for high quality classroom and clinical instruction producing well-prepared graduates who are preferred for hire in local and regional health care institutions. The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, the master’s degree program in nursing, and the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Messiah University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
The Department
Simulation laboratories include advanced simulation with medium and high-fidelity human simulators. Faculty are committed to the integration of Christian faith in the practice of the nursing profession. Students also have opportunities for cross-cultural experiences and development of intercultural competency is encouraged. Compensation
Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
