Teacher, Science - Upward Bound Program

• Designs and delivers developmentally appropriate courses aligned with established curriculum goals and learning outcomes.
• Teaches assigned science courses and conducts the required number of instructional contact hours.
• Creates and maintains a learning environment that promotes student engagement, academic excellence, and intellectual growth.
• Adheres to established instructional standards, institutional policies, and applicable safety regulations.
• Maintains accurate student records and prepares required academic reports promptly.
• Other related duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required, degree in science or a closely related field preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience teaching science at the secondary or postsecondary level preferred.
• Valid teacher certification preferred.
