Position Title: Adjunct Psychology

Position Summary: Washburn University's Department of Psychology invites application for Fall 2024 adjunct faculty position

Essential Functions:

Teach PY301 Learning

In-person, Tuesday/Thursday 11:00AM

Teach General Education PY courses

In-person, day preferred, will consider evening

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in Psychology or a closely related field, or a master's degree in another field with 18 graduate credit hours of coursework in Psychology

The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to pursing teaching excellence at Washburn University, including a dedication to developing inclusive teaching practices that engage students from all backgrounds

Official transcripts are required at time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Psychology.

Previous college teaching experience preferred; developmental, abnormal, and introductory psychology courses are possible, depending on qualifications.
