Operational Manager: Horizon Hospital and Health Service (HEO 8)
- Based at UniSA Clinical and Health Sciences at the City East campus
- Full-time, continuing position
- Commencement Salary: $108,351 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
About You
You are an experienced leader who has managed a team in a complex health and/or simulation environment. You have a high-level understanding of management systems, budget and procurement processes and leadership of high functioning teams. You possess excellent communication skills, and an ability to manage relationships with both professional and academic stakeholders. You are dynamic and innovative and bring a fresh perspective to problem solving.
About the Role
This role will report to the General Manager: Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) and have a close working relationship with the Professorial Lead: Simulation Teaching and Learning. While based at the City East campus, responsibilities will encompass the HHHS facilities across all campuses. You will be responsible for the operational leadership, management, and oversight of the HHHS facilities, professional, technical, and casual staff teams. This involves managing and organising the technical services team; overseeing the rostering and resourcing of the clinical staff; and managing the facilities and equipment needs that support student learning and translation of knowledge into practice.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrated operational management experience including management of facilities, resources, budgets, problem solving and associated reporting
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing a high performing team
- High level communication skills including the ability to effectively build and sustain internal and external relationships
- Demonstrated understanding of technologies that support synchronous and asynchronous learning within simulated health environments (desirable)
