Psychology and Marketing/Communications Administrative Assistant

The Psychology Department and the Marketing/Communications Department at Cedar Crest College is seeking a full-time (35 hours/week) Administrative Assistant to support faculty and students within the Psychology Department and to support the staff in the Marketing/Communications Department. The Assistant maintains departmental records and databases, plans and schedules meetings and events, processes expenses, maintains office equipment and supplies, collaborates on various projects, serves as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, and supervises student workers to provide an enriching experience and employment-related skill development. The Assistant also supports the completion of regulatory reports, clearances, and other documentation to maintain compliance with accreditation requirements. This is a 12-month, full-time position.
Qualifications
Minimum of an Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. The successful Assistant will have prior administrative support experience, excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service along with a high level of confidentiality. Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time-management skills and demonstrated success with multi-tasking and successfully handling interruptions and unexpected events are essential. Candidates must be proficient with applicable computer systems and software, including Microsoft office
