CBSM ADJUNCT POOL POSITION (NON-CREDIT; COURSE DEVELOPMENT)

The College of Business and Security Management (CBSM) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks is looking for qualified adjunct faculty for the 2023-2024 academic year to create online course content and develop engaging curricula for the following areas: Accounting, Applied Management, Business, Economics, Emergency Management, Healthcare Management, Homeland Security, and Sports and Recreation Management. Successful applicants should have a master's degree or Ph.D. in a related field and professional experience in the field of study relevant to the course being developed. Applicants should be familiar with online learning.

Work might be in-person or remote, depending on the needs of the program respective to the course being developed.

This is a pooled position and applications will be reviewed on an as-needed basis. Salary rates are $1,666 per credit hour; most semester-based courses are 3 credit hours for a total salary of $5,000 to develop a three-credit course.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Extensive experience in the field of study related to the course being developed.

Ability to create online course content. Preferred Experience & Education:

Experience sufficient to perform the job.

Experience in higher education is preferred.

Required Experience & Education:

Masters level degree or Ph.D. related to business, accounting, economics, homeland security, emergency management, cybersecurity, healthcare management, or sports and recreation business.

Salary Information:

This is a part-time position. Salary rates are $1,666 per credit hour; most semester-based courses are 3 credit hours for a total salary of $5,000.
