Offer Description
The University of Rijeka, Faculty of Informatics and Digital Technologies, is opening a procedure for the selection of:
1. One (1) Teaching Assistant (m/f) in the scientific area of Social Sciences, scientific field of Information Sciences. The position is temporary, full-time, for work on courses in the fields of databases, electronic business, digital marketing, and computer animation, until the return of a temporarily absent employee.
Applicants must meet the requirements prescribed by the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette "Narodne Novine" No. 119/22).
Additional evaluation criteria (advantages in the selection process):
Teaching excellence (at undergraduate and graduate levels), professional/scientific training during and after studies, teaching experience, student demonstrator experience, work experience, specific professional experience, specialized knowledge and skills, research work, socially useful work, interest in and attitude towards work. The applicant must provide appropriate proof for all listed criteria.
The hand-signed application must be accompanied by:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV),
- Certificate of nationality (for Croatian citizens) or proof of citizenship of another state,
- Proof of qualifications (professional title, academic title, or academic degree) and other documents confirming that the applicant meets the requirements for election to the position,
- Official transcript of grades and GPA during studies,
- Proof of proficiency in the Croatian language (for applicants who are foreign nationals),
- Occupational medicine certificate on health capacity – required psychophysical characteristics (for the first appointment),
- Electronic employment record (e-radna knjižica) / official work history registry.
Applicants are required to submit the application and all requested documentation on a digital medium as well.
