The Department of Decisions, Operations and Technology is recruiting full‑time Teaching Assistant(s) to support courses in the following areas:
- Management Information Systems
- Operations Management
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a higher degree in Management Information Systems, Operations Management/ Operations Research, Supply Chain/ Logistics, or a related discipline; (ii) preferably hands‑on proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and agentic AI; (iii) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; (iv) a meticulous work attitude, a strong sense of responsibility, and good interpersonal and management skills; and (v) the ability and willingness to work under pressure. Work outside normal office hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required. Applicants who are near completion of a Master’s degree will also be considered.
The appointees will assist in lectures, tutorials, preparation of course materials, grading, student consultation or supervision, and other academic activities as assigned. Appointments will initially be made on a contract basis for one year commencing August 2026, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
