Duties

Deliver teaching and teaching-related activities at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, specifically in one or more of the following courses/domains:

Criminology, crime science, and policing

Sociology, social problems, and research methods

Statistics and quantitative analysis

Supervise capstone projects and participate actively in research; and

Contribute to the broader intellectual project of the Department through publications, seminars, workshops, and research proposals.

Requirements

A Master’s degree in Social Sciences with a major in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Criminology or related disciplines. A Doctoral/PhD degree will be an asset for consideration;

Proven ability to teach in English for the courses/domains mentioned in the “Duties” section;

Experience in providing academic advising or mentoring for students in the tertiary education sector; and

A track record of successfully teaching large classes will be a plus.
