Position Summary
Tech Adjunct professors are utilized to teach special topics courses in Lighting, Scenic design and production, as well as potentially take on sections of stagecraft. This position will also design one or more extra curricular productions per academic year as determined with the full time faculty. (Usually this will be a scenic or lighting design, but could branch into sound, projections, and costumes depending on skillsets.)
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree with 18 hours in the field.
- Must communicate clearly and work collaboratively.
- Extensive experience in theatrical scenic design as well as intimate knowledge of construction techniques and industry standards.
- Extensive experience designing, hanging, focusing, and programming lights on ETC consoles.
- Auto CAD, Vectorworks, EOS / ETC, Q-Lab, Google Apps, Microsoft Apps.
