Clinic Supply Clerk (Part-time)
Job Summary
The Clinic Supply Clerk is a part of the University Clinic Operations team. The Supply Clerk is responsible for dispensing and monitoring all items necessary for patient care.
Responsibilities
- Treat all medical records in a secure, confidential manner with the understanding of privacy policy and HIPAA law
- Maintain thorough knowledge of clinic policy and procedures
- Distribute supplies necessary for patient care
- Monitor the return and condition of all patient care items
- Submit requests for restocking purchases
- Keep lab supplies filled and orderly
- Place and receive orders for lab supplies
- Scan clinical and/or administrative documentation into EHR
- Sort and distribute mail
- Assist with front desk functions as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- Must have a positive attitude and take initiative
- Ability to quickly learn new computer systems and office processes
- High School diploma or equivalent
