Job Description

Boston College is seeking a highly organized and professional temporary pool staff member to support Commencement Operations in the planning and coordination of Commencement and related events.

Responsibilities may include administrative support, coordination assistance, scheduling, data management, and general operational support as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable supporting multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This is a short-term, temporary assignment averaging 10-20 hours per week, with reduced hours during January and February and increased availability closer to Commencement. Evening and weekend hours may be required based on event needs.

Position Details: Onsite | Temporary | Part-Time | Non-Exempt
Department: Office of University Advancement
Hourly Range: $23-$25. Competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, scheduling, data entry, and document management.
  • Strong time management, impeccable organization, and acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, customer service orientation, and the ability to adapt to diverse workplace needs.
  • Proactive problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic environment
