Temporary Faculty School of Accountancy

Job Summary

The School of Accountancy is now accepting applications for a pool of part-time faculty positions for the 2025-2026 academic year. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Teach principles of accounting courses
• Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online).

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Earned masters degree in accounting, or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Accounting.
• Evidence of the potential for above average teaching ability.
• Evidence of effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Related professional experience
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFE, CIA, and CISA)
