Temporary Research Assistant (Health Outcomes)
Rutgers School of Public Health (SPH) is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant for the Department of Health Behavior, Society, and Policy. Principal Investigator, Dr. Katie Darabos, is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant that will support research on improving health outcomes among adolescents and young adults impacted by cancer, as well as young adult couples impacted by cancer. Projects focus on qualitative and quantitative analysis of social support and understanding how aspects of support- and communication-related processes relate to quality of life and physiological functioning (e.g., salivary markers of inflammation).
This will be an excellent position for a candidate who is interested in pursuing graduate studies in Psychology/Public Health in the future.
Duties include:
- Engages in multiple aspects of research including recruitment, data collection, data management, and literature searches.
- Manages the day-to-day operations of active studies.
- Completes Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications.
