"Temporary Research Assistant Per Diem (2) Positions"

Position Summary

Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking Temporary Research Assistants to work in the Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions department.

The Temporary Research Assistant(s) will assist the faculty member in conducting their program of original empirical research.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Directly responsible for providing research activities support to faculty mentor.
• Secure informed consent for participant study participation.
• Conduct data collection.
• Preparation for entry, computer entry, checking and tracking of data, data analysis under supervision.
• Administrative assistance such as IRB or grant applications.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Minimum of bachelor's degree preferred in a mental health related field or data management or statistical background.
• Assessment, intervention, and/or data management training will be provided.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Standing, sitting, walking, talking or hearing.
• No special vision requirements.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Office environment. Moderate Noise.

Salary: $18 per hour
