"Temporary Research Assistant"

The University of Pennsylvania, a world-renowned leader in education, research, and innovation, is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant for the Center for Food and Nutrition Policy at the Perelman School of Medicine. This role involves assisting with a randomized, controlled trial to evaluate the effect of healthy food policies on food shopping and eating behaviors.

Responsibilities include:

• Participant recruitment and obtaining informed consent
• Administering study surveys
• Placing restaurant and grocery orders for delivery to participants' addresses
• Data entry
• Communicating with participants via phone and text to answer questions
• Teaching participants how to use the online restaurant and grocery ordering system
• Collaborating effectively with other research team members

The ideal candidate should have availability on Mondays and Tuesdays, as most activities are concentrated at the beginning of the week. The position is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
