Essential Job Duties:

The individual will support the applied research and extension activities of the Turfgrass and Forage Weed Science Lab. Responsibilities include assisting with research projects that evaluate turfgrass and forage tolerance to herbicides, assess weed control efficacy, and precision weed management technologies. The position involves maintaining research plots and collecting data for summary reports.

Minimum Experience/Education:

• Combination of training and experience required to perform the duties

• Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education:

• Background in turfgrass management, weed science, agronomy or related field
• Experience in maintaining field equipment

Required License or Certification:

• Valid driver’s license
