Job Summary

The Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Tilburg University is seeking a Tenure Track Assistant Professor to contribute to programs such as Bachelor International Business Administration, Bachelor Entrepreneurship & Business Innovation, Master of Strategic Management, and a Ph.D. program in Strategy & Entrepreneurship. The role emphasizes exceptional education based on scientific research to prepare students for business careers, with a start in summer 2026 or earlier.

Responsibilities

Teach in various programs at undergraduate and graduate levels; conduct research in subfields of Strategy and/or Entrepreneurship including corporate venturing, business innovation, new venture growth, new product development, business modeling, business- and corporate-level strategy, strategic renewal, and international business; contribute to a robust Ph.D. program; engage in grant acquisition; foster a positive team culture; and participate in academic community activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates must hold a PhD in entrepreneurship, strategy, or a related field; demonstrate research excellence through R&Rs or publications in premier journals, an active research agenda, and leadership in the field; have a record of teaching ability in strategy and/or entrepreneurship; show impact through reviewing for journals and conference attendance; possess experience with grant acquisition and industry partnerships; and exhibit strong leadership and team spirit. What the Employer Offers
