Tenure Track Faculty Position in Biomedical Engineering, Cornell University
The Nancy E. and Peter C. Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University invites applications to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level although exceptional candidates at all ranks will be considered. We seek candidates who develop and translate innovative engineering solutions including data-driven methods, advanced instrumentation, and technology platforms to enable precision medicine and therapeutic engineering. We are particularly interested in applicants who integrate engineering principles with clinical or translational goals, with potential applications in areas such as cancer immunology, data acquisition and sensing, drug delivery, or related fields. Candidates should demonstrate a clear path toward impactful clinical or translational applications of their technology. Applications exclusively focused on imaging will not be considered.
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in engineering or a closely related field, with a demonstrated potential for success as an independent investigator and educator.
The Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering is in the College of Engineering on Cornell’s campus in Ithaca, New York. The ideal candidate will benefit from strong collaborative ties to the College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, and Weill Cornell Medicine and Cornell Tech in New York City. Our global presence includes a College of Medicine campus in Doha, Qatar.
