TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITION FOR INDEPENDENT SCIENTIST IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PATHOLOGY
Assistant, Associate or Full Professor

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pathology is looking for exceptional individual (MD, DO, MD/PhD DO/PhD or PhD) to develop or continue groundbreaking basic or translational science as an independent scientist. Preference will be given for expertise in areas of (but not limited to) neuroscience, immunology, molecular biology, stem cell biology, or cancer biology using state‐of‐the art technologies with a focus on mechanisms of human disease at a cellular or molecular level. Appointment will be commensurate with academic credentials and experience. Appointment at Associate or full Professor, tenured, is subject to UTSW Promotion and Tenure guidelines and will require high impact publications, significant grant support and a national reputation. For Associate or full Professor ranked candidates, preference will be given to those with extramural grant support. Outstanding resources, start‐up funds, renovated laboratory space are available as are proximity to UTSW Cores, Basic Science Departments and animal facilities. The Department has an outstanding mix of young, mid‐career and senior investigators who operate in a collegial and stimulating environment.
