Tenure-Track Faculty Positions in Law 2026-2027
IE University invites applications for four full-time, tenure-track, faculty positions at IE Law School (at the Assistant Professor level). The appointment will begin September 1, 2026.
We seek candidates with an original and relevant research agenda and the potential to build a strong record of high-impact publications. Candidates should also demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching.
English is our working language and the primary language of instruction. Most courses are taught from a transnational or comparative perspective.
Areas of expertise
The call is open to all areas of legal scholarship. The deliberately broad scope of this call reflects our commitment to attracting top talent and growing a diverse faculty.
While applications from any field are welcome, we are particularly interested in hearing from experts in:
- Private Law (Contracts, Torts, Property, Family Law, Conflicts of Law, etc.)
- Commercial, Corporate, and Finance Law
- IP Law
- Digital & Tech Law
- Human Rights
- Environmental & Climate Change Law
