Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Work under the Testing Center Coordinator to oversee all day-to-day operations of the Testing Center
- Associate’s Degree
- Experience with computer operating systems,
- Microsoft Office tools, and lockdown browsers
- Organizational planning, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication, both orally and in writing
- CLEP, DSST Certifications (can become certified at FLC if not already certified)
- Nationally certified with the National College Testing Association
- Member of the NCTA (National College Testing Association)
- Previous proctoring or teaching experience
- Prior experience working with students with disabilities in post-secondary education
Work Environment: Proctoring is performed at the proctor station located in the Testing Center. Considerable time is spent working at a computer in a quiet, low-distracted environment. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook – email and calendar, and TEAMS. Must be able to multi-task as current tasks are often interrupted due to students entering and exiting the Testing Center.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and move around the room; talk, hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, TEAMS phone, keyboard, including to reach, stoop, and kneel to access computer equipment.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting is required.

- 8 Month Position (during fall, spring semesters)
- M-F during fall and spring semesters, up to 1000 hours
The hourly range is $20.67 to $22.84/hour.
