Hanshan Normal University Native Language Teachers Recruitment

Hanshan Normal University, located in Chaozhou, Guangdong Province, P.R. China, is an undergraduate pedagogical university under the direct jurisdiction of the Education Department in Guangdong Province. The University, situated at the foot of Bijia Mountain and by the Han River, is known for its picturesque scenery and beautiful environment, making it an ideal place for teaching and studying. To meet the University’s demand of further advancement, HSNU plans to recruit native language teachers. Details of recruitment are as follows.

I. Basic Requirements

1. Aged above 18 and normally not exceeding 60 years old
2. Be in good physical condition
3. No criminal record
4. Bachelor degree or above
5. At least two years of relevant language teaching experience

Note:
The 2-year working experience requirement could be exempted if applicants:
1. major in Education, Language or Teaching, or
2. obtain a valid teaching certificate from ones’ home country, or
3. obtain a valid international language teaching certificate.

II. Positions

Note: 1 teaching period is 45 minutes.

III. Remuneration Package

1. Monthly Salary: 9000-10000RMB before Tax
2. Full-paid salary during winter & summer holiday for one-year contract
3. For one-year contract, if contract is renewed for another academic year, the teacher will receive a flight subsidy of 5000-10000 RMB and a travel allowance of 2000 RMB at the beginning of the next academic year, and will have the opportunity to receive a bonus of 2000 RMB for excellent foreign teachers.
4. Accommodation: If needed, the University will provide on-campus accommodation with basic living facilities during contract period. Utilities will be paid by the foreign employee.

IV. Materials required

1. Resumes of applicants;
2. Highest academic certificate (scanned copy); Foreign diploma and degree must be certified by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange
3. Passport information page and relevant visa page (if any);
4. Certificate for language working experience (over 2 years), or valid teaching certificate from one’s home country, or valid international language teaching certificate;
5. Personal No Criminal Record Statement with signature;
6. Personal Health Statement with signature;
7. Electronic Profile Picture (taken within 6 month).
