Position Details:
The School of Nurse Anesthesia in the Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences occasionally has openings for part-time temporary adjunct instructors. Applying for a part-time teaching appointment would add the applicant to a pool which is available to the departmental search committee for consideration in case the need arises.

The School of Nurse Anesthesia seeks an anesthesia professional with an earned doctorate in nursing or related field, for an adjunct position. The ideal candidate will participate in all facets of the educational mission of the DNP-A Program; integrate evidence-based practice in curriculum; and participate in clinical and classroom teaching.

Requirements:
- Current certification in specialty and appropriate graduate degree (doctorate)
- Strong practice background and proven teaching experience.

The Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences consists of programs that prepare future health care and human services professionals. The academic units within Harris College – Communication Sciences & Disorders, Kinesiology, Nurse Anesthesia, Nursing and Social Work – are home to more than 1,750 students who are supported by committed and talented faculty and staff.
