TIES Full Professor with Tenure
The MIT Sloan School of Management is seeking senior faculty candidates with a demonstrated track-record of leadership in the research, teaching, and practice of entrepreneurship for a position in the Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management (TIES) Group starting on July 1, 2023 or as soon thereafter as possible.
Only candidates eligible at the rank of Full (tenured) Professor will be considered. Applicants must have a PhD in economics, sociology, or other relevant social sciences and management disciplines. Job duties include teaching graduate, executive, and undergraduate level courses on entrepreneurship and related topics and conducting research in these areas. A minimum of ten years of experience teaching and working at a business school is required.
Applicants for this position must be leading scholars in their field and have extensive experience developing and delivering graduate and executive level courses in entrepreneurship, including field-based coursework. Prior experience running an entrepreneurship or innovation center will be highly valued. Eligible candidates are those conducting rigorous disciplinary or interdisciplinary research on topics relevant to entrepreneurship, while also being directly engaged with the practice of entrepreneurship in industry, and with a track record of bringing that perspective to bear in management education, program and curricular development, doctoral training, and more.
