Title III Program Coordinator
Position Announcement
Utah Tech University in St. George, Utah, invites applications for a full-time Title III Grant Program Coordinator. The program coordinator will perform a variety of oversight, supervision, operational management, and reporting duties requiring knowledge in grant administration and federal regulations. The Title III Coordinator will also oversee the University's Supplemental Instruction Program. This highly visible position operates in a busy environment and involves actively monitoring multiple grant initiatives. This is a multi-year, grant-funded position with funding through September 30, 2028. Responsibilities
- Coordinate, supervise, and assess the Supplemental Instruction (SI) program of the Affordable and Accessible Pathways Title III grant.
- Ensure that the SI program operates in compliance with all terms and conditions of the grant and all federal regulations.
- Coordinate and monitor goals for SI activities related to the Title III grant, and assist with the preparation of reports for the Title III grant, as needed.
- Collect and maintain grant Time and Effort reports.
- Maintain and update the Title III Policy and Procedures Manual that embodies the requirements of program statutes, regulations, and policy statements.
- Maintain supplemental instruction program certification through the International Center of Supplemental Instruction (ICSI) at the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC) and assure the program meets accreditation standards.
- Hire, train, and support student SI leaders through regular observations while coordinating with academic departments for successful implementation and ongoing management of supplemental instruction.
- Conduct or assist in SI assessment.
- Participate in weekly Title III grant staff meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the project manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in relevant field preferred.
- Some administrative experience in higher education required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required.
- Ability to effectively work with a wide range of constituents and manage simultaneous projects.
- Experience in grant development and administration preferred.
- Experience with supplemental instruction preferred.
- Artificial intelligence knowledge preferred.
Supplemental Information
POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Full-time overtime-exempt staff position. Annual salary of $62,242, with a desired start date of July 1, 2026. This is a grant-funded position with an end date of September 30, 2028.
