Utilize TES (Transfer Evaluation System) to research and
interpret course content for the evaluation process by
investigating course descriptions in college catalogs or by
exchanging and collecting information with institutions in
question; acquire knowledge in the application of calendar and
grading systems, course requirements, and transcript
formatting.
Apply appropriate policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure
the accuracy of the data within transfer articulation modules of
the student information system including transfer tables and the
specific student record and verifies the correct application of the
data in the degree audit system.
Assist in the process to identify new guidelines to improve
procedures within business processes and data processing.
Assist with graduation services to include, but not be limited
to graduation checkout processes, degree audit coding or
maintenance, and support for planner and scheduler
technologies.
Examples of project work include reviewing courses from one
institution to ensure that all courses are represented in transfer
tables in uAchieve, or learning and processing specialty transfer
credit such as study abroad or international transfer
articulation.
Work with campus partners to improve transparency of the
transfer process so that students have a clear understanding of
which credits will be awarded and how they will apply to degree
pathways.
Collaborate with University Advising, school and college
advising units, and community college advising offices to
coordinate advising for students before, during, and after
transfer.
Collaborate with the Office of Recruitment and Admissions to
stay current on transfer policies, transfer pathway agreements, and
the transfer credit process, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Assist in the review and revision of transfer practices and
policies that produce inequitable student outcomes.
Utilize Transferology (transfer equivalency tool) and ensure
that information related to transferability and degree
applicability is easy for students to understand
Ensure that Transfer Guides are updated and are easily
available for students and advisors on the university web
site.
Collaborate with New Student Orientation and First-Year
Experiences to support the transition of transfer students as they
develop a sense of belonging at CU Denver.

Qualifications you already possess (Minimum
Qualifications)
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of
hire.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited
institution.
Substitution: A combination of education and related
technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the
bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualification to possess (Preferred
Qualifications)
- Experience with overseeing data maintenance related to
compliance with academic policies.
- Experience with student information systems within a higher
education setting.
- Experience with Academic Services or Student Services in a
higher education setting.
- Experience in Registrar's Office operations in a higher
education setting.

- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and
orally.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships with employees at all levels throughout the
institution.

Conditions of Employment
- Occasional work during the evening and/or weekends may be
required. The Registrar's Office supports the Commencement Ceremony
on Saturdays two times per year.
- This position follows a hybrid work structure where employees
can work remotely or from the office, as needed, based on demands
of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the
office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high
degree of collaboration.
Mental, Physical, and/or Environmental Requirements
- The ability to sit for extended periods, stand and walk
occasionally, reach with hands and arms, use hands to manipulate a
keyboard and mouse, and have good near vision for computer
work; often requiring minimal lifting, but may involve bending or
reaching to retrieve items from shelves or drawers.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been
established at $44,133 - $45,952.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set
based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to,
internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.The
above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's
good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible
compensation at the time of posting.
This position is/is not eligible for overtime compensation.Your
total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The
