Salary: $57,512 - $60,445
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Number: FY2300721
Location: Main Campus - Baytown, TX
Division: Provost/Academic & Student Affairs
Position Overview
Starting Salary Range is $57,512 - $60,445. The initial salary
offer is commensurate with education and related work
experience.
Lee College has set an ambitious institutional goal: raising the
transfer intending for students on a bachelor's-degree pathway from
approximately twenty-five percent (25%) today to thirty-five
percent (35%). The Transfer Success Coach gives students a single,
dedicated point of contact as they finalize their transfer plan,
move through acceptance, and begin their first term at a four-year
institution. The Coach works alongside students to confirm their
destination and degree program, prepare for the logistics of the
move, and stay connected into the receiving institution so support
continues without a gap.
This work is specialized, proactive, and relationship-driven. The
Coach partners with students through the transition between
university acceptance and the first term of enrollment, helping
them build on their own strengths and momentum while navigating the
financial, logistical, and life-stability factors that can
otherwise interrupt persistence. The Coach treats each student as a
capable partner in their own success; working alongside them so
students arrive at their transfer institution ready to persist.
Reporting to the Director of Transfer Services, the Coach works in
a collaborative team that supports the institutional transfer
goal.
