Transportation Specialist II
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Associate Director , this position provides transportation services for university students, employees and visitors. This position conducts transportation duties in accordance with Parking & Transportation (P&T) policies & procedures. This position also has the capability of transporting customers on extended trips outside of the 50-mile local area range.
Responsibilities
Transportation - 15
- Provides bus transportation services for students and employees along campus routes in accordance with defined schedules during day or night shifts.
- Drives a university owned bus, not to exceed 26,001 GVWR. Develops a professional yet familiar rapport with all customers.
Transportation II - 80
- Provides bus transportation services for students primarily during the times of 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during the academic semester.
- Position may transport students and employees outside the local area, defined as beyond the 50-mile range around campus, in support of special trip requests.
- Effectively transports customers on unique routes or trips in support of university requirements and athletic events.
- Complete required documentation in accordance with P&T guidelines for the effective invoicing of trips.
Other - 5
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Other Required Qualifications
Valid CDL Passenger endorsement drivers license with good driving record.
Required Experience
At least three years of experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proposed Salary

This is not a supervisory position.

This position will be required to drive.
