Tyler Haynes Professorship
The Jepson School of Leadership Studies (JSLS) at the University of Richmond invites nominations, including self-nominations, for a full professor of leadership studies, with consideration also given to highly qualified advanced associate professors to begin in the 2026-27 academic year. We seek candidates with a distinguished and ongoing record of scholarship and an earned doctorate in a discipline such as organizational behavior, organizational or social psychology, or a related field. Subject to the Board of Trustees' approval, the successful candidate will be appointed to the endowed Tyler Haynes Professorship in leadership studies with the additional possibility of teaching in the Robins School of Business or the School of Arts and Sciences.
JSLS is a collaborative, inclusive community of scholars with representation from diverse humanities and social science disciplines. Applicants should have the potential and desire to teach in our undergraduate liberal arts institution (see http://jepson.richmond.edu for more information). In their cover letters, candidates should demonstrate how their scholarly and teaching interests bear on leadership and how they are prepared to contribute to the interdisciplinary community at the Jepson School. Applicants should apply online at http://jobs.richmond.edu and submit a curriculum vitae and cover letter. Candidates for this position may be asked, at a later date, to provide the names and contact information for three references who will be asked to submit letters of recommendation. Applications are due by September 2, 2025.
