"University Compliance Officer & Deputy Title IX Coordinator"

Job Summary

The University Compliance Officer & Deputy Title IX Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and performing a variety of compliance functions related to claims of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct at Kutztown University. These functions include, but are not limited to, intaking complaints, conducting investigations, drafting investigative reports, and reviewing policies. As the Deputy Title IX Coordinator, this position will be responsible for conducting outreach and intake meetings in response to reports of sexual misconduct and overseeing the implementation of the university’s sexual misconduct prevention and awareness programming and related training initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Knowledge of and experience with Title IX, Clery Act, Americans with Disabilities Act
• Knowledge of and experience with EEO federal and state laws and regulations
• Excellent research, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Experience with diverse populations

Preferred Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or master’s degree
• Title IX Training Certification
• Experience in higher education
• Experience working in a union environment

The starting salary range for this position is $75,000-$85,000.
