Job Description:
Summary:
University Event Scheduling is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented
student to join our team! This part-time position offers hands-on
experience with event scheduling systems and campus operations. As
a student scheduling assistant, you will help process and manage
space reservations through the EMS scheduling system, respond to
emails and phone calls from event organizers, and support a variety
of operational and database maintenance tasks.
Essential Functions:
- Provide front-line office coverage, including answering the
main phone line, responding to general inquiries, and welcoming
walk-in guests.
Review and process space requests in the EMS scheduling system,
paying strict attention to University space policies and scheduling
restrictions.
Communicate with clients via email and phone about questions or
concerns related to their event requests, offering alternatives and
coordinating with campus schedulers as needed.
Assist with managing user access and data updates in EMS.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Part-time.
- 15 hours per week.
